Art Slaves Show and Sale, July 1 – 31

Anon, fair ladies and good gentlemen, Art Slaves declares itself in most ardent desire of your attention. The time of our yearly revelries is at hand. From July’s first kiss to her demise, you may attend the Art Slaves Show and Sale July 1 – 31 at West Street Market in downtown Reno.

Opening Reception | July 8, 5 to 10 pm

Mayor Bob Cashell

But hark, now, and attend to our words a few moments more. On July 8, from 5 to 10 pm, our fair artisans will gather to celebrate and we bid you join in our delights. On this mid-summer’s eve, if you would but linger with us, we will repay your kindness with displays of art, music, and words of such fine skill it will be as if the muses themselves had descended from the heavens for your pleasure. But alas, time is fleet of foot, and such beauty and distractions do not exist beyond this single night’s delight.

We who are but slaves to our art, toil in the light of day under many a different professional guise in suits of gray and blue. It is here, within this shaded glen, we reveal ourselves to be painters and sculptors, potters and musicians, artisans of image and light, creators of artistry in all mediums. All who wish to join the play are welcome in our midst.
