UNR’s Winning Ad/PR/Marketing Team Needs Your Help

As you may know, UNR’s Team was victorious in the District level of the National Student Advertising Competition, earning the right to compete with top schools from other parts of the country in Orlando this June. Unfortunately, the national organization, the American Advertising Federation, only funds expenses for a small part of the team.

They are faced with the daunting task of raising about $20,000 to send the rest of the winning group. They need your help.

Click the button to donate now.

The a2n2 Foundation and Board have donated. The local chapter of the Public Relations Society of America has donated. Several UNR alumni have helped. The students have held a successful fundraiser and solicited support from friends and family. But they still need help and time is short.

You have probably either participated in this competition through UNR or work with someone who has. They can tell you the intensity of their effort. Nevada’s teams have done well at the Nationals in the past, winning the top prize — best in the nation — in 2003.

The Orlando competition will provide a national stage for our community, our University and our advertising, marketing and public relations industries here.

The students expect to pay their own incidental expenses including meals and will sleep four-to-a-room to reduce costs. Even these costs present something of a hardship to some of our team members. Won’t you please help? Your donation will flow through the a2n2 Foundation and as such is most probably tax deductible.

Thank you for your help!

What is StaggeReno?

StaggeReno is a 21+ scavenger hunt taking place in the Downtown Reno area.

How does it work?

In a nutshell, Teams of 6 players will complete 20 fun-filled tasks around the Downtown area. Each team will compete against other teams to see who can complete the most tasks, and in the fastest time.
