Art Slaves 2009 Show and Sale

The Art Slaves 2009 Show and Sale will be held July 1-31, 2009 at The Amendment 21 (425 South Virginia Street) in downtown Reno.
Art Slaves is a group exhibition featuring fine art, music and written word created by communication professionals from the Truckee Meadows. It is a true, “anything goes” kind of show–painting, sculpture, mixed medium, ceramics, photography, music, audio/video, written word, performance art: traditional, experimental and the unheard of. We encourage people working in all mediums to participate.
Commission from the sale of the art will go towards funding the journalism scholarship program at UNR.
A “Masquerade” themed artist reception will be held on Thursday July 9th from 5pm to 10pm There will also be a closing night event on Thursday July 30th from 5pm to 9pm. There will be drink specials and live entertainment on both nights.
Entry Deadline
All Artwork needs to be dropped off at Digiman Photography Studio (4690 Longley Ln #24) no later than Friday June 26th 8th, 9am-6pm. Please contact Frank Haxton at 775-741-1375 for other arrangements.
Artwork should be picked up at Digiman Photography on Monday August 3rd 9am-6pm.
Art Requirements
- Entry Fee: $25.00 per entry
- All visual art must be original. The number of visual art entries is unlimited so long as space is available.
- All artwork is required to have an entry form.
- Note: It is very important that the size of each piece be included on the entry form.
- Entry forms can be faxed to 775-829-7662.
